Before I can know what “direction” to Pursue God, I have to know His will for me. Before I can know His will for me I have to be filled with His Holy Spirit.
Being filled with His Holy Spirit isn’t a matter of following some “formula.” In my morning fellowship with Him I plead with God to fill me with His Spirit. I must let go of my fleshly desires and lusts, repent of the carnality that has been a core part of me since childhood, and make room for Jesus’s Holy Spirit.
Lord Jesus, forgive me! Help me to repent! Help me to receive Your Holy Spirit! Help me to know the Father’s will!
Because moving any other direction is guaranteed to fail.
